THINK KRAKOW

  PHOTOGRAPHS 2012 - 2020

Only a handful of European cities can claim to contain little to often the eyes. Paris is one and Prague is another. It is perhaps Krakow that is the most pleasantly surprising to visitors. One of Europe’s best kept treasures. Dating back to early medieval times, Krakow is Poland’s best known travel destination, filled with heritage architecture, museums, thousands of bars and restaurants and cultural events. It is the historic seat of Polish Monarchs, Poland’s former capital, and the cradle of Polish culture, history and arts.

Each year Krakow is visited by over 10 million people. It’s heart – the Rynek square has been voted to be worlds most beautiful public square, and personally I have not seen a more beautiful public square anywhere else in the world. It is a fairytale public square filled with cafes, restaurants, museums, palaces and the impressive towers of St. Mary’s church. In addition Krakow offers some top museums in Poland: the Royal Wawel Castle and the Royal Cathedral, Schindler’s Factory Museum, Wieliczka Medieval Salt Mine, and the National Museum with the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci ‘ Lady with an Ermine.’
